Angee Pell
Founder B.A.(Hons) Advanced FEEL Certified Practitioner Sky River Meadows (SRM) is a Therapeutic Animal Farm tucked away in Muskoka, Ontario located on the beautiful grounds of Woodfield True Nature Campus and is the brain-child, and over decade long journey, of Angee Pell. If you’re a Muskoka local, you may know Angee by the moniker “Goat Lady” and if you look closely enough, you will see that Pell sports the same government mandated herd-letter tattoos in her ear as her herd. Ask her why and she will tell you that it is a tribute to the herd; a symbol of union and kinship with the animals.
This is just one of the whimsical and magical personality traits that have helped grow such a unique and important venture as SRM, but it’s important for Pell to remind visitors that this beautiful vision and sanctuary was born out of many years of adversity and obstacles. Pell was born and raised in Southern Ontario on a small rural farm where her connection to animals began at an incredibly young age. Human friends soon became outnumbered by four-legged creatures in Angee’s life. In 2013, Pell earned her B.A.(Hons) Child and Family Studies from Nipissing University at the Muskoka Campus before beginning her journey into the FEEL Approach. Pell Earned the Advanced FEEL Certification, making her one of 47 worldwide. FEEL grads are in North America, Europe and Africa now SRM is a place that has been created to allow both people and animals to come together safely to learn, connect and heal. SRM is one of the dedicated and passionate partners at Woodfield True Nature Campus. |
