3/30/2021 0 Comments The Beginning PlaceHello world, Angee here. It's kind of funny how many times I've stood in this place - the place of starting over. Who was it that said this is the first day of the rest of your life? I would like to thank that person as those words have helped me to slowly plug through the mountainous To-Do List that currently runs my life. Exciting things are already beginning to happen here at the farm as we get set to officially reopen our doors for bookings. I have taken a lot of time over the past several weeks to really explore how best my business can support my community. All of these changes have occurred to take the necessary steps to ensure the best safety measures for our visitors. As a FEEL Practitioner, I wanted to design programs with everyone's mental health being the main focus. I am currently working on a new 6 Step Program called The G.O.A.T. Reset, which is intended to give participants the opportunity to take a step out of their lives, and into a place where self discovery is easier. For the time being while I complete this program, I will be offering the first stage The G.O.A.T. Connection to those wishing to get a taste into the FEEL Approach, and to feel it's benefits and impacts. For anyone who has visited the farm before and took part in a Cuddle Puddle, this will be familiar to you, however this is an entirely new experience. This about so much more than goats! This is about finding ways to reconnect with ourselves and loved ones in different ways. I look forwards to stepping up and really using my voice to share my message and the FEEL teachings with everyone. The G.O.A.T. Connection is now live and accepting bookings as of this coming weekend. Be sure to come and check it out! Also coming soon, The G.O.A.T. Walk will be returning this spring with VERY limited bookings available. All visits to the farm will remain private for the duration of the covid pandemic, to ensure the safest and best possible experience for all of our guests. My new work/life balance has changed the hours of operation and availability here at the farm, but to balance it out I am now offering evening spaces on Mondays and Fridays, as well as more availability on weekends. Change doesn't always have to be scary! I am embracing this new energy and am excited for the connections we can make this year! ~ Angee

3/21/2021 0 Comments Beautiful Spring BlessingsHello friends. It has been quite some time since I sat to write in this space. There are times in life when the absolutely unexpected happens, and life stops. The past several weeks have been spent diligently tending to my family, as we navigated an emergency. This situation occurred simultaneous to the announcement of another lockdown in the district we live in. With my doors closed once again, I was actually able to put my energy where it was most needed - at home. I am truly blessed to have a solid, honest and openly communicative relationship with my son. The stress and pressure of the past few weeks have tested us greatly, but we came through it, stronger than ever having navigated though it together. There is still a lot left to figure out, but the dust is settling. During the past several weeks I have taken full advantage of this time to reevaluate my life. I took great care in of putting all of my ideas and dreams on the table, and examining them one by one to see where I currently sit with them. It amused me greatly to see just how many things I had still been directing energy towards that were no longer serving my needs or interests. So much has happened in the past year. A year ago in time compared to today is enough to scare anyone - no matter what your viewpoint, or on what issue. The impacts will be felt for a very long time and for that reason I remind myself daily to focus on the positive and the multitude of blessings that have come from the pandemic. A shift has occurred for all of humanity. We all face a choice as to whether or not we will shift with the energies of the Universe. I have chosen to shift, and in doing so am in the best position possible to create the life I really want. In spending time reevaluating what my vision for my farm looks like, I was also able to make very conscious decisions about my work life balance moving forwards. There is no doubt that I have put a lot on my own plate. I am responsible for 76 beautiful animals day in and day out. The barn chores and animal care alone is a full time job for me, but I also want to run a business. Balancing the two, as well as juggling family life and caring for my grandson part time, I need to find a new rhythm. I am shifting my work schedule to suit my lifestyle and current priorities. That is one of the greatest advantages to being a sole proprietor after all. The past month has shown where I need to make adjustments and during the coming weeks, I will put these changes into practice. I intend to reopen the doors of the farm again in the coming week and am eager to begin welcoming visitors again. It is no exaggeration for me to say that the herd is eager to welcome others again as well. Springtime in the farm is full of such joyous energy! I can think of nothing more uplifting than spending time basking in the warm sun with my herd. It truly is food for the soul ❤
