The Beginning Place

Picture
Hello world, Angee here.  It's kind of funny how many times I've stood in this place - the place of starting over.  Who was it that said this is the first day of the rest of your life?  I would like to thank that person as those words have helped me to slowly plug through the mountainous To-Do List that currently runs my life.
Exciting things are already beginning to happen here at the farm as we get set to officially reopen our doors for bookings.  I have taken a lot of time over the past several weeks to really explore how best my business can support my community.  All of these changes have occurred to take the necessary steps to ensure the best safety measures for our visitors.  As a FEEL Practitioner, I wanted to design programs with everyone's mental health being the main focus.  I am currently working on a new 6 Step Program called The G.O.A.T. Reset, which is intended to give participants the opportunity to take a step out of their lives, and into a place where self discovery is easier.  For the time being while I complete this program, I will be offering the first stage The G.O.A.T. Connection to those wishing to get a taste into the FEEL Approach, and to feel it's benefits and impacts.  For anyone who has visited the farm before and took part in a Cuddle Puddle, this will be familiar to you, however this is an entirely new experience.  This about so much more than goats!  This is about finding ways to reconnect with ourselves and loved ones in different ways.  I look forwards to stepping up and really using my voice to share my message and the FEEL teachings with everyone.   The G.O.A.T. Connection is now live and accepting bookings as of this coming weekend.  Be sure to come and check it out!  Also coming soon, The G.O.A.T. Walk will be returning this spring with VERY limited bookings available.  All visits to the farm will remain private for the duration of the covid pandemic, to ensure the safest and best possible experience for all of our guests.  My new work/life balance has changed the hours of operation and availability here at the farm, but to balance it out I am now offering evening spaces on Mondays and Fridays, as well as more availability on weekends.   Change doesn't always have to be scary!  I am embracing this new energy and am excited for the connections we can make this year!   ~ Angee

"Healing with the Herd" is a personal blog journey of discovery, reflection and sharing of Angee's observations while healing with her herd of animal friends.

Born and raised in Southern Ontario in the mid 70's,  on a small rural farm,  Angee would often seek solace in her families barn with the animals that lived there.  This was her sanctuary, and it is here that she developed her ability to make deep connections with animals.  These four legged creatures became her first friends, confidantes and protectors.   Angee  earned her BA in Child and Family Studies from Nipissing University in 2013, and is also a graduate of the FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) Certification Program and the Advanced FEEL Certification Program.   She is now enrolled in Wisdom Circles with Horse Medicine Lodge for her Shamanic studies.  Angee's path of personal development and learning led her to create Sky River Meadows, a place where both people and animals can come to learn, connect and heal together.
